He adventured in the party known as the Karameikan Kats, and thus is known to Thalla Mistmoor, Kiber , and Justice.
Marakas is the typical invoker. If it's in the way, blast it. If it isn't in the way, blast it anyway. That has brought him into conflict with party members before, but luckily the confrontation hasn't degenerated into actual battle (yet).
Marakas appears to be in his early fourties (real and apparent). He is slightly balding, but keeps in good physical condition (by jumping to conclusions, flying off the handle, etc). He normally dresses in red robes, betraying his occupation. Of late, he has spent a lot of his time at the school of magic, helping others blow up the world too.
Marakas lives in Luln, where he has a large house. The house includes a pond around the back of the house for frogs (Marakas likes frogs), and a solid steel room in the basement, 3 feet thick. It is inside this, magically protected, room that Marakas stores his spellbooks. He performs his research into new spells here as well.
