Defensive Harmony (Extraordinary):
High priests inspire allies to more effectively aid each other in times of
crisis. All visible allies within 10' per level gain a +1 morale bonus to
saves and AC [4]. This bonus increases by +1 for every two prestige levels
gained. The priest is affected as well, provided there are allies present.
Divine Health (Ex):
Protected by the favor of Shamane, a high priest is less susceptible to
illness and poisons. At 2nd level the high priest becomes immune to all
forms of disease (magical or otherwise). They gain a +2 sacred bonus
to saves against poison and curses.
Slower Aging (Ex):
Being especially favored by Shamane, high priests age more slowly than
normal mortals. At 4th level they begin to age at half the normal rate and
their lifespan is extended to the maximum for their race. A 6th level the
aging process slows further to one-fifth of the normal aging. At 10th level
aging stops entirely, the priest having been judged too indispensable to
be taken to Shamane due to normal causes. Note that this affects only
natural aging, not aging (or youth effects) caused by magic or other
effects.
Defender of the Faith (Supernatural):
At 8th level the high priest gains the ability to raise a stern anger in those
defending their homes or loved ones. When in such a situation, all allies of
the cleric that are aware of his presence (either through sight or being able
to see his personal banner or the like) fight more ferociously gaining the
benefit of an Aid spell and giving a +4 bonus to morale. To gain this benefit,
the high priest needs to be taking an active role in the fighting, whether in
direct combat, the use of spells or by holding a command position.
[1] This means 12th character level is the minimum for the class.
[2] Must be reasonable priest type, but priest/paladins or some other combination which doesn't get many spells (but is approppriate) should be allowed.
[3] It may seem redundant, but it is standard to have every class give proficiency in something. This is the same as cleric, but it does allow for the possibility of some other divine spellcasting class which doesn't get many weapons. Shield-mage?
[4] This is not the same as a bonus to morale. It is a bonus of type morale, like a bonus of type sacred or of type resistance. I'm not sure if a morale bonus can give a bonus to AC. If it can't, then that part will be a sacred bonus.
