Grey and Turia leave for Baratkand.
Gurzurk heads to Rockhome.
Thora and Remus return to Serraine.
The remainder of the party head to Glantri city to research Pentaegg. Penta-egg is a place Zim heard of through a journal that was discovered in the Gnomish Caverns (by Kobolds that Zim has hired to uncover gnomish items). The journal, which is in poor condition, was written by a gnomish explorer, and contains scattered information of where he travelled, including some place names.
Tessarael is not in Glantri city at this time, but will head there to meet us.
The Falcon is landed on the road outside the front gates of Glantri city.
Zim is the only member of the present party members who can speak Glantrian.
The party arranges an inn to stay in.
We must wait to speak to a Master of the Glantrian School of Magic in order to obtain permission to peruse the library.
The High Master of the School is the prince who disappeared around the time of the god war. He is no longer a prince. [we know the name, but I forget what it is]
A message was left at the library addressed to the Seekers. All members of the Seekers are invited a ball being held by Princess Carnelia, an event of quite some high standing. The ball is to be held in about a week.
Princess Carnelia is a Belcadiz elf, and one of the Princes of Glantri. The party does not know why we have been invited, but will attend.
Zim obtains permission from a Master to use the library. Permission was originally denied until Zim name-dropped Princess Carnelia and her ball.
Zim speaks to a Belcadiz elf student of the School to find out a bit about Princess Carnelia. The elf student was extremely impressed at our being invited, and was willing to bribe us with all he owns to be allowed to attend with us.
By the end of the conversation with the elf student, Zim has inadvertently revealed that ``Rael,'' the elf who likes garlic a lot and keeps to himself, has the full name of Tessarael. The elf also learns that Tessarael is a member of our party, the Seekers, and that Tessarael is very cautious since he's hiding from somebody. Zim emphasises to the elf the importance of keeping this secret, since it is very important, and if word gets out, Tessarael would be in great danger. The elf seemed very excited, and was mentioning phrases such as ``I understand, cloak and dagger,'' all the while nodding enthusiastically. [sorry Dave, no-one could stop Zim, since no-one knew what he was saying]
Zim has hired five research assistants (no-one can read Glantrian). Two are hired to perform some research at the request of Gurzurk, and three are hired to research Penta-egg.
