Changes to the 3.5 edition rules - Turning
Turning changes
Turning uses the variant rule from the complete divine, further modified. In summary:
- Any alignment of cleric can choose to do damage.
- 30' radius burst (normal turning is 60' radius burst)
- d6 damage per effective turning level (ie: cleric level for clerics,
paladin level -3 for 4th level paladins and above). Remember prestige
classes don't generally have turning progression.
- Undead get a will save (DC equal to 10+half effective turning level+charisma mod) for half damage
- Undead with turn resistance receive "turn reduction" (like damage
reduction) of 10 points per level of turn resistance.
- Good clerics can repel, evil clerics can control, neutral clerics can
choose at first cleric level. The effect is the same as the PHB.
- Turnings per day is as PHB.
