Phoranin (Female Shadow Elf Shaman)
Phoranin is a member of the mysterious shadow elves, who live deep
underground. She stands barely 5' tall, and has strange purple markings
on her face, denoting her as a shaman. Since her race is feared and hated on 
the surface, she covers those markings with makeup, and her pointed
ears with a large floppy hat she is very fond of.

Phoranin commonly wears a white robe, with a crossbow slung over her back,
a long sword at her side and a case of bolts at her hip. While quite
skilled in her weapons, she prefers to stay out of combat wherever possible.

Considered a sage of the subject of humans in her own lands,
she travels the surface world to learn more of these people.
Also seeks to find soul crystals, gems which contain the
souls of shadow elves awaiting eventual reincarnation, which
are required for shamans to cast spells. The risk of
destruction of a soul crystal being too high, she left
hers behind with her people. She hoards her spells until she
can return.
