Tserdain, Ambyrmont 3, 1027

[session logs lost - basically, we meet and discuss building an aircraft carrier]

Loshdain, Klarmont 20, 1027

The aircraft carrier plan goes ahead. Building commences, and we each work on our own respective parts.

Loshdain, Ambyrmont 20, 1027

The aircraft carrier is finished, although work on the warp drive continues.

During this time, Krikk's army invades the plateau. She seems intent on inflicting damage on the townspeople, bot the nomads. However, the nomads ally with the townspeople. The mercenaries and the ones they trained fight their way through to the towns, destroy several of the production facilities the townspeople have, but on being confronted with the combined force of nomads and townspeople, they retreated. The town burned down. The mercenaries and those they trained took minimal casualties.

It comes time to decide who will remain undead or not. Zim will return to life, and Lani decides she will stay undead.

An argument ensues, naturally, but not many of us are here to argue anyway. Zim expresses concern over what Talib and others might think.

Zim goes to the priests of Hades in Thyatus to get resurrected. They'll do it for free. Zim gets his phylactery from Talib first. The priests of Hades first kill Zim by casting a variant of Undeath to Death variant. Zim is then true resurrected.

We discuss stuff to do the Star Seeker. The other people on the ship: Knight Banneret Titus Alder (Captain) Rajah Kvana the Grey (XO)

Prince Finn will not be joining us again. Whilst he was away, some bad politial things happened. Ostland is the most traditional and backwards of the Norse region. Fortunately, the Queen, being intelligent, has started to try to introduce good changes. Since she had power by way of being regent, ruling in Finn's name, it wasn't good that he was away. Rumours had started that he had been killed, and she just wanted to stay in power. And the priests, who are often the traditionalists, as previous divinations had shown him to have died.

Prince Finn does not wish to be made living again. Zim threatens him, and teleports on the threat of being kicked out by his guards.

Loshdain, Sviftmont 20, 1027

After the craft is built, we have an official launching ceremony. The craft is painted black, by way of camoflage.

Our first mission: To visit Matera (the visible moon), a good breaking in operation for the crew.

The crew don't necessarily get along, since no-one is used to taking crap from anyone else. There are some brawls and "meetings out back." The pegataurs seem the best.

On the side, the SIndhi and Heldannic guys are about 5th level. The pegataurs have less skill, but more brute force.

After some months of being forced to get along, the crew eventually start to get along.

A standard uniform is adopted, consisting primarily of blak colours with epaulettes, etc.

Zim announces he's going to be a father. We have a party.

[party last paid for employment today]

We engage the teleport drive, and teleport to above Mystara.

Titus is willing to delegate matters to Grey in order to get stuff done. He's a fairly personable fellow, and is easy enough to get along with.

We run shakedown drills, with the party pretending to be the aggressors. The design of the ship isn't perfect, but it's early days after all.

It takes about two weeks to get to Matera.

Loshdain, Eirmont 6, 1027

We arrive at Matera. We manage to park ourselves in orbit, above a large, pockmarked, grey world. It looks dead and lifeless.

Matera has a diameter of about 2000 miles.

The Falcon flies toward it to explore. We punch through the sky shield using a disintegrate, and are sucked inside quickly - there is no air inside. We open a potion of air so we can breathe. Landing is no problem - Zim just uses the transgravitator.

We collect some rocks, then return to void space, planning to return the next day better prepared.

We analyse the rock. It seems like a rock, except for one thin layer of glass.

Soladain, Eirmont 7, 1027

Lani and Zim memorise create air spells, and we return to the surface.

Sound does not transmit without air.

We have a bit of fun bouncing around, then split up and have a look about. We split up, but before long, Zim finds something. A big rock that has landed and partly split open. Inside are dead guys. A pegataur marine breaks it open. Inside are two seated dead guys - one clearly died on impact, and the other seems to have unfastened himself from the seat before expiring. They are the shapeshifting infiltrator lizard creatures.

We head over to a nearby ridge of a crater - a very large crater.

Zim's flying carpet does not function here.

We head to the center of the crater. There is much evidence of destruction. A large meteor must have hit here.

We return to the Falcon, and for the next while we explore the place, letting different crew members gain experience on the surface each time.
