The party becomes undead. We become Nosferatu Vampires (Grey, Safranna, Thorhilde, Finn), Liches (Zim, Lani), Ghosts (Minora, Arni), and a Death Knight (Roland).

We get transported back to our equipment by the priest who first brought us here.

I do some sendings to Turia, before explaining the situation to the other party members, namely Tess and Thora. The reactions from the other party members are not too positive, as expected. Gurzurk, whom Tess informed, has distanced himself from us. Tess has gone into paranoia mode, by all appearances.

Alas, Turia does not wish to see me, at least not for now. sigh

All party members are treating us with distrust, and are avoiding us for now.

Zim organises Gwen to get T'zaz to research various magics, and to organise some animal blood.

I have a meeting with my Seneschal. He is somewhat edgy as a result of my pronouncement, but otherwise seems to be handling it well. He will organise a supply of blood. I leave a letter for the Rajahdirajah, indicating that I have been cursed, and that I am adventuring to remove the curse - I will still direct aspects of my rulership, but will otherwise be mostly unavailable.

T'zaz indicates that she can use Gentle Repose to preserve the Liches, and we can research a variant of the spell to preserve blood.

The ghosts can be teleported, probably because teleporting is an ethereal-based spell.

The liches discuss how to hide their phylacteries.

We start dealing with the tombs again. Finn speaks to the King. The King said the Great Giants are not like humans - they're a different species. They're like the rulers of giant-kind. They were normally found on the mainland. They're much taller than normal giants, and generally wield powerful magics.

After updating the monks, Zim goes to work on the Kings ship, so that he may continue his journey in the afterlife. After finishing the repairs, the King gives Finn a magical hammer (which becomes corporeal), and then continues his journey. The dead are laid to rest.

The priests still get their spells, and cause wounds spells heals our damage.

We go to Serraine, and try to find Stompri the Storm Giant in Serraine, to ask him about the great giant clan. The great giants are known as the Jotan, or Titans. They no longer reside on this plane, since, as the legend goes, they were too good for Mystara, so the gods placed them on another plane.

Stompri finds it strange that the Jotan would get the Moulder Dwarves to make any item for them, since they were just as qualified as the Moulder Dwarves, although without the madness.

We head off to find the Sphinxes, to ask them of the Titans. We speak to a female sphinx, Ari Moonflight. To gain this knowledge, we must first answer a riddle: Round and round it goes, entertaining young and old, what is it. A spinning top, although she accepts Zim's answer of a Joke.

She believes the titans are pretty wide-spread throughout the planes. They are an immortal class creature - they are undying, and are gifted with a small part of a deities power.

The Jotan is a kind of giant, but is not exactly a "titan" per se. All Jotans are titans, but not all titans are Jotans. Nowadays titans refer to a specific type of titans - not the Jotan type of titans.

We head off for the Cage. Alas, the exit has moved, to somewhere in a back-alley, some sort of industry area - a poorer part of town, with tanners, and other crafters. It doesn't smell too good.

Unfortunately, the exit back to our plane doesn't work, not from this alley anyway. Also, the universal language translating spell doesn't work again.

Anyway, we find our way to the man who asks questions of his skulls. We ask him of the Jotans. He tells us to come back the next day.

In the meantime, we're stuck in the Cage until Minora can rememorise. We look for blood. We find a specialty shop selling all sorts of fine bloods, but no animal blood. We go to a butcher, and get some pigs blood. It's as unpleasant as usual.

The results from the skulls: They do not know of these creatures called Jotans. Titans, however, live everywhere. However, we probably want to go to the place known as Valhalla.

We're worrying we're heading down the wrong track. We do a commune in our desperation to find direction.

There are Jotan in the Northern Reaches currently, including in Vestland, but not Ostland, and not Norvick.

There are no descendents of Brokk and Sindri in the Known World, and they are not alive.

We will split the party. Some of us will go to Vestland, some others will go and try to find clues regarding the Moulder Dwarves. Safranna, Zim, and Grey go to Vestland.

Minora Gates us back to Mystara, and we split up.

I teleport us, but with mishap, to the wrong location. It's a very rough ride, but we're all okay. Unfortunately, we're back in the Jarldoms! More specifically, Sojerfjord.

Anyway, we wait for a bit, until we've regenerated, and then Zim gives a go at teleporting us. Unfortunately, Zim teleports us into the water! Argh! I start sinking, and take much damage! We drink some potions, and fly out of the water.

After yet another off-target teleport, we decide we'll rest, and let Zim memorise some more teleports. Safranna and I are forced by circumstances to feed from a living elk - I have no intention of suffering through the experience in the water again. Safranna heals it after we finish. The elk isn't that disturbed during our feeding.

We'll try walking to Norvick instead.

Turia is still not speaking to me. However, I'm sure she'll soon realise there's nothing to fear from me.
